Delusion is an art form underused by those who can't see past their current circumstances and admired by those “crazy” enough to believe in a higher purpose. When life is giving you every reason to stop dreaming and conform, it takes an extraordinary person to look past the road most traveled and do the work to create their reality. Damani is the creator of his reality and might be the person you need to help you create yours.
The best advice comes from experience. You wouldn't ask someone who's only performed for a crowd of twenty-five people how to prepare for a crowd of twenty-five thousand. Damani’s wisdom in guiding an artist's mental state is only valid because of trial and error. His ability to read others, relate their barricades to his own, and safely get them through by lifting their frequency is only possible because he’s gone through that process with the man in the mirror.
At first, Damani’s role on our team was that of Double M’s Music Business Coach. He has knowledge about the music business, including royalties and contracts. However, focusing only on this area did not help him or the long-term goals of our artists. Now, he leads Group Coaching calls every Monday among various other community safe havens where he can actively assist artists through creative problems as well as external issues that are keeping them from getting what they want in the studio.
