We often take our ability to speak for granted, sometimes saying the wrong things or remaining silent altogether. I believe the value of our words has diminished, especially now that everyone has a platform to express themselves whenever they want. I urge all the artists I work with to respect the lyrics they include in their music. While we may exaggerate for the sake of entertainment, that doesn't mean your character should change. As Sev G continues the journey to find his voice, the substance of what he talks about has never wavered and I appreciate that the most.

I've witnessed his transformation from spending extended periods of time working on just a couple of songs to actively recording, creating content, and releasing new music while preparing to launch another project. With each release, I never question what he stands for or the community he resonates with, regardless of the beat selection or cadence. Getting to know Sev as a person before seeing him as an artist has allowed me to offer constructive criticism and help guide him closer to the type of performer he aspires to be.

I am looking forward to his revised approach to visuals and the reactions from others as he gives them a closer look at who he is and what his life is like. He is the type of artist who promotes positivity and uplifts listeners through the subjects he writes about.
