"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life." — Steve Jobs

It often seems that most "influencers" have a hidden agenda these days. What they say first is usually not what they truly mean, and it's rare to see their true intentions. Of course, this doesn’t apply to everyone, and when you encounter someone genuine, be sure to support and encourage that kind of authenticity. I find it amusing that many people seeking a position in the public eye or any form of power and authority often hide their true selves to conform to trends or what's currently popular. What you see is what you get with Agent Sin. There are no gimmicks, no ulterior motives, and certainly no games. He either lives or has lived what he writes about, using music as a form of therapy rather than as a means to steal the spotlight. I often say that these types of artists are ironically the most deserving of recognition. However, he's not seeking acknowledgment. He recognizes his gift and understands the importance of using it to assist others experiencing similar situations.

I've known Sin for a month now, and I can confidently say I've yet to meet too many people, let alone artists, with more purpose; a reason for pursuing music that actually benefits more than just themselves. Our first conversation leaned more towards life. How he became the man he is today, and what his calling to become an artist stemmed from. Usually, artists aren't as open and vulnerable when meeting new people, but I don't think Sin could have been any other way.

After formalities, we discussed music and his plan to drop a project. A 14-song novel diving deep into what makes him strong in the midst of adversity, fractured relationships, and his dedication to the craft. I appreciate his trust in myself and my team to aid him. The records he's about to put out are more than a track list of sounds, but a body of work that, if listened to attentively, will give you a blueprint on how to prevail through your worst days and find your north star when it's cloudy. What I admire about Agent Sin the most is that he was himself from the jump. He made it clear that he was not trying to be someone else, and the sound reflects that.

"From the Bottom to the Top" by Agent Sin, releasing October 15th. Follow Sin on Instagram at @sinply_sinsastional and listen to his latest single off the project, "One Above All," featuring WESTSIDEBOOGIE on all platforms!
