We often overlook the burden of being an originator when considering an original idea. Everything has its own balance. While someone may receive high praise for being the first to achieve something, there is often a dark side they had to overcome to reach that success. In many cases, that darkness still resides within them, kept at bay and used as motivation. In the in between where passion and purpose are at their peak, but the external is rather unimpressive, it takes a special person to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I've yet to meet someone with as much faith in the unknown or ability to see the light where there is none, like my brother, Boss Beez. He never promised me wealth or fame, just family. A family that, if I committed to, would not only help me achieve my goals but also propel me further than I could ever have imagined. He has fulfilled that promise tenfold.

The originator is often their own biggest critic, especially when the creation is themselves. I see him practicing self-compassion and acknowledging the pressure he faces instead of ignoring it. That pressure is definitely real. Watching him neutralize everything the world throws at him inspires us to do the same. This is how we will win—not by luck, but through a relentless belief in what we can't yet fully understand, along with a stubborn kind of foresight that drives us to keep trying until every possibility has been explored.

On your birthday week, I want to express how grateful I am for you! You take the burden of being the first on the chin and set a great example for your team to follow. I won't drag this out. Continue to choose the thoughts and actions that bring you peace, and when things get tough, know that the M is always there to have your back.
