"Pessimism leads to weakness, optimism to power."
— William James
As time goes on, it seems like we have less control than ever. Some of us are waiting to return to work, while others are juggling multiple jobs but facing reduced pay. Everything feels backward and upside down! Amid this upheaval, there is one thing we will never lose: our ability to adapt and see the brighter side. This may come easier for some than for others. We are all confronting our own individual challenges, and I don't want to imply that anyone's struggles are greater than another's. I just want to remind anyone who resonates with this message that this, too, shall pass. Even when your surroundings feel against you, be strong for yourself and remain optimistic.
What is the purpose of anger? What does resentment achieve other than revealing your own weaknesses? Without experiencing low points or periodic frustrations, we wouldn't truly appreciate how good things feel when they go right. Your reaction to negative situations reflects your alignment with the natural flow of life. If you are out of sync, that negative emotion can unwittingly be directed at others, especially when it feels like someone else is the source of your negativity. Regardless of the situation, it is essential to practice grace and remain aware of the silver lining.
Despite the anticipated "takeover" by artificial intelligence, we still work with humans, who exhibit human traits. We make mistakes, forget things, experience mood swings, and get tired. It's important to look beyond these inconsistencies and recognize the goodness in our intentions and those of others. Optimism is essential during these times if you want to succeed. Things may not be going your way right now, but trust that the universe will eventually reward you for all your preparations. Instead of resisting the obstacles in your path, view them as opportunities to test your commitment to your journey and reflect on whether you have accepted what it takes to walk that path.
