By wanting, you're acknowledging something you don't have. The ability to see what you want in your possession before it is is how you get it. I've never known Jaco to speak on an idea without its execution in mind, incessantly following each creative lead until the external world mirrors his internal thoughts.
On stage is where you see this most. With a discography primed for performance, Jaco has become a crowd favorite and developed an instant chemistry with the audience on any stage he touches. I've noticed a drop in attention to detail where artists often perform over the recorded, mixed, and mastered versions of their songs, giving the crowd an experience they could have gotten at home. I wouldn't say what he brings is different, but nostalgic, reminding people that music is nothing without the soul.
In addition to continuously learning how to improve his craft, Jaco takes time to build his foundation. Streams, tickets, merchandise, and anything else artists offer, so to pour back into music, means absolutely nothing without a business structure. Pharrell Williams once said, "Creativity without business is usually victimization." An unfortunate situation most creatives find themselves in.
