The ability to influence the energy of a room is innate. While social skills can be improved with practice, some people seem to command attention with little discipline. MBO Snow is an obvious example.

Our first real face-to-face was the Lady's Night Double M hosted before throwing RDI Nights 3. After discussing the event, everyone proceeded to share music and network. No one, including me, was aware of Snow until that point. However, you would have thought she was an old friend by the way we were treating her at the end of her song. You can't teach someone to give off the infectious energy she brought! It translated well as she left it all on the stage during the following performance.

Being open to constructive feedback and welcoming new ideas gives Snow an edge over artists who remain closed off. Mixing production tips, flow changes, and recording techniques results in an improved Snow and a more polished product than before. She's living proof that we don't reach our highest potential by using only what we know, but by combining our knowledge with the experiences and expertise of others.
